I Still Believe

Driving to school this morning, I began thinking about everything going on in my life right now. To be quite frank, I became pretty flustered and depressed. I won't go into detail, but I have a few things that are very heavy on my heart right now and have been for quite some time. Whenever I think about these things I tend to get pretty upset and I can't understand why things are going the way they are going.

So as I was contemplating and getting upset, this song came on the radio. It is called "I Still Believe" and it is by Jeremy Camp. Now, I am a person who easily identifies with song lyrics, poems, literature, etc. So this song really helped put things into perspective for me...that no matter what I am going through (good or bad), it is God's will. I have a tough time when things don't go my way :) Anyway....I have a class right now, but feel free to read the lyrics. Have a beautiful day!
-D
Scattered words and empty thoughts
Seem to pour from my heart
I've never felt so torn before
Seems I don't know where to start
But its now that I feel your grace fall like rain
From every fingertip washing away my pain

I still believe in your faithfulness
I still believe in your truth
I still believe in your holy word
Even when I don't see, I still believe

Though the questions still fog up my mind
With promises I still seem to bear
Even when answers slowly unwind
It's my heart I see you prepare
But its now, that I feel, your grace fall like rain
From every fingertip washing away my pain

I still believe in your faithfulness
I still believe in your truth
I still believe in your holy word
Even when I don't see, I still believe

Well the only place I can go is into your arms
Where I throw to you my feeble prayers well in brokenness
I can see that this was your will for me
Help me to know that you are near

I still believe in your faithfulness
I still believe in your truth
I still believe in your holy word
Even when I don't see, I still believe
